The weaknesses are caused due to integer overflow errors within the "strtod()", "strtof()", "strtold()", and "strtod_l()" stdlib functions when parsing input strings, which can be exploited to cause buffer overflows via overly long strings passed to the functions. The weaknesses are reported in version 2.16. Other versions may also be affected. SOLUTION: No official solution is currently available. PROVIDED AND/OR DISCOVERED BY: Reported by the vendor.
