Successful exploitation requires "Enable Files Versioning" to be disabled (enabled by default). 2) The application allows users to perform certain actions via HTTP requests without performing proper validity checks to verify the requests. This can be exploited to perform certain actions when a logged-in user visits a specially crafted web page. 3) Input passed via the "token" parameter (when "app" is set to "gallery" and "getfile" is set to "sharing.php") is not properly sanitised before being returned to the user. This can be exploited to execute arbitrary HTML and script code in a user's browser session in context of an affected site. The security issue and the vulnerabilities are reported in version 4.0.6. Other versions may also be affected. SOLUTION: Fixed in the GIT repository. PROVIDED AND/OR DISCOVERED BY: 1) Reported by Fuddl within a Debian bug report. 2) Reported by the vendor. 3) Julien Cayssol ORIGINAL ADVISORY: ownCloud: https://gitorious.org/owncloud/owncloud/commit/ab97c04894ebce03b5b19e29ea677be8abca87ef https://gitorious.org/owncloud/owncloud/commit/2dfc4851494a51ac04192030758f2b43da07b521 https://gitorious.org/owncloud/owncloud/commit/5f5136643562e53460af557efbb6f3c0a2a6fc80 https://gitorious.org/owncloud/owncloud/commit/05648dac619942dfccc76180d30fcd79364355ec Debian Bug#684426: http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=684426 OTHER REFERENCES: Further details available in Customer Area: http://secunia.com/vulnerability_intelligence/ DEEP LINKS: Further details available in Customer Area: http://secunia.com/vulnerability_intelligence/ EXTENDED DESCRIPTION: Further details available in Customer Area: http://secunia.com/vulnerability_intelligence/ EXTENDED SOLUTION: Further details available in Customer Area: http://secunia.com/vulnerability_intelligence/ EXPLOIT: Further details available in Customer Area: http://secunia.com/vulnerability_intelligence/ ---------------------------------------------------------------------- About: This Advisory was delivered by Secunia as a free service to help private users keeping their systems up to date against the latest vulnerabilities.
