The security issue is caused due to the ImageUpload.ashx script within the web server component allowing to upload files into a directory within the web root without any restrictions and can be exploited to upload an executable script. Successful exploitation may allow execution of arbitrary code with privileges of NETWORK SERVICE. The security issue is reported in versions 7.0 and 8.0.
