The vulnerability is caused due to a boundary error when handling web requests and can be exploited to cause a stack-based buffer overflow via an overly long request sent to TCP port 8000. Successful exploitation allows execution of arbitrary code. The vulnerability is confirmed in version 6.4.017. Other versions may also be affected. SOLUTION: Restrict access to trusted hosts only.
