The vulnerability is caused due to Active Record not properly sanitising nested query parameters and can be exploited to manipulate SQL queries. NOTE: A weakness also exists in the parameter parsing on Rack when using ActionPack and may allow the insertion of "IS NULL" where clauses into SQL queries.
