PageManager, which can be exploited by malicious people to disclose potentially sensitive information, cause a DoS (Denial of Service), and compromise a vulnerable system. 1) A boundary error in the Network Group Service when processing certain network requests can be exploited to cause a heap-based buffer overflow via a specially crafted packet sent to TCP port 2502. Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may allow execution of arbitrary code, but requires the service to be enabled (disabled by default). 2) An input validation error in the Network Group Service when processing certain network requests can be exploited to download arbitrary files via a specially crafted packet sent to TCP port 2502. 3) An error in the Network Group Service when processing certain network requests can be exploited to cause an unhandled exception and terminate the service via a specially crafted packet sent to TCP port 2501. The vulnerabilities are confirmed in version 9.01.31.11104. Other versions may also be affected. SOLUTION: Restrict access to trusted hosts only.
