This can be exploited to execute arbitrary HTML and script code in a user's browser session in context of an affected site. 2) A boundary error within prototype/segmentation_performance in the Splunk Web component can be exploited to exhaust system resources and render the service inaccessible. The vulnerabilities are reported in versions 4.0 through 4.2.3. SOLUTION: Update to version 4.2.4.
