The vulnerability is caused due to a use-after-free error when processing Project files and can be exploited to reference freed memory as a function pointer via a specially crafted ".agn" file. Successful exploitation may allow execution of arbitrary code, but requires tricking a user into opening a malicious file. The vulnerability is confirmed in version 8.18. Other versions may also be affected. SOLUTION: Do not open files from untrusted sources.
