The vulnerability is caused due to an integer overflow error in the "virDomainGetVcpus()" function in src/libvirt.c. This can be exploited to cause the daemon to crash or corrupt memory via a specially crafted request sent to e.g. TCP port 16509. Successful exploitation may allow execution of arbitrary code.
