The weakness is caused due to an error in D-Bus when processing messages with a non-native byte order. This can be exploited to e.g. disconnect D-Bus clients by sending specially crafted messages. The weakness is reported in version 1.4.10. Other versions may also be affected. SOLUTION: Restrict access to trusted users only.
