The vulnerability is caused due to the "auto_link" functionality incorrectly marking the output as safe. This can lead to certain input not being properly sanitised before being used or returned to the user, which can be exploited to execute arbitrary HTML and script code in a user's browser session in context of an affected site. The vulnerability is reported in versions 3.0.x prior to 3.0.6. SOLUTION: Update to version 3.0.6 or apply patch.
