Overview

An Out of Bounds flaw was found fig2dev version 3.2.8a. A flawed bounds check in read_objects() could allow an attacker to provide a crafted malicious input causing the application to either crash or in some cases cause memory corruption. The highest threat from this vulnerability is to integrity as well as system availability.

If a user or an automated system were tricked into opening a certain specially crafted input file, a remote attacker could possibly use this issue to cause a denial of service. Ubuntu Security Notice 5123-1 - Multiple security issues were discovered in MySQL and this update includes new upstream MySQL versions to fix these issues. MySQL has been updated to 8.0.27 in Ubuntu 20.04 LTS, Ubuntu 21.04, and Ubuntu 21.10. Ubuntu 18.04 LTS has been updated to MySQL 5.7.36. In addition to security fixes, the updated packages contain bug fixes, new features, and possibly incompatible changes. Various other issues were also addressed.
