Stegano is a basic Python Steganography module. Stegano implements two methods of hiding: using the red portion of a pixel to hide ASCII messages, and using the Least Significant Bit (LSB) technique. It is possible to use a more advanced LSB method based on integers sets. The sets (Sieve of Eratosthenes, Fermat, Carmichael numbers, etc.) are used to select the pixels used to hide the information.

Changes: It is now possible to specify the encoding (UTF-8 or UTF-32LE) of the message to hide/reveal through the command line. Various other updates.

Changes: The generator provided to the functions lsbset.hide() and lsbset.reveal() is now a function. This is more convenient for a user who wants to use a custom generator (not in the module lsbset.generators). Performance improvements for the lsb and lsbset modules.

pyHIDS is a simple HIDS (host-based intrusion detection system) for verifying the integrity of a system. It uses an RSA signature to check the integrity of its database. Alerts are written in the logs of the system and can be sent via email to a list of users. You can define rules to specify files to be checked periodically.

Changes: It is now possible to check the output of commands ("iptables -L", for example) if you want to check the status of your firewall configuration.

The goal of IP-Link is to show the relationships between different IP addresses from network traffic capture, thus quickly determining for a given address the IP address with which it communicates the most.

Changes: This version introduces the generation of Bezier curves. It is now possible to see the relations between IP and ports. The tutorial has been updated.
