ipset 6.19
Posted May 14, 2013
Authored by Jan Engelhardt | Site ipset.netfilter.org

ipset allows administration of sets of IP addresses/networks, ports, MAC addresses, and interfaces, which are stored in hash or bitmap data structures. These can then be used in conjunction with iptables to do fast presence lookups.

Changes: This release adds per-element byte and packet counters for every set type.

Posted Jan 27, 2013
Authored by Jan Engelhardt

arptables is an administrative utility for managing the ARP filter table in the Linux kernel.

Changes: This release adds support for the CLASSIFY target, enables printing of the input and output interface even when verbose mode has not been selected, and fixes handling of the inversion flag (which was ignored for some options).

Changes: In this release, using protocol numbers is supported alongside their names. The number of maximum ipsets is now automatically increased as needed.

multiadm-1.0.7.tar.bz2
Posted Aug 14, 2007
Authored by Jan Engelhardt | Site alphagate.hopto.org

The MultiAdmin security framework kernel module provides a means to have multiple root users with unique UIDs. This bypasses collation order problems with NSCD, allows you to have files with unique owners, and allows you to track the quota usage for every real user. It also implements a sub-admin, a partially restricted root user who has full read-only access to most subsystems, but write rights only to a limited subset, for example writing to files or killing processes only of certain users.

Changes: Updated for 2.6.22.

Changes: Most LSM hooks have been collapsed and unused arguments have been removed. capable() was slightly changed which made the patch smaller. The MultiAdmin module and kernel patch were updated to 2.6.17-rc3.
