DESCRIPTION:
A vulnerability has been discovered in the WordPress Recip.ly Plugin,
which can be exploited by malicious people to compromise a vulnerable
system.
The vulnerability is caused due to
wp-content/plugins/reciply/uploadImage.php not properly validating
uploaded file types, which can be exploited to e.g. execute arbitrary
PHP code through an uploaded PHP file.
The vulnerability is confirmed in version 1.1.7. Other versions may
also be affected.
SOLUTION:
Edit the source code to prevent arbitrary file upload.
