DESCRIPTION:
High-Tech Bridge SA has discovered a vulnerability in DeluxeBB, which
can be exploited by malicious people to conduct SQL injection
attacks.
Input passed via the "xthedateformat" parameter to misc.php (when
"sub" is set to "register") is not properly sanitised before being
used in a SQL query. This can be exploited to manipulate SQL queries
by injecting arbitrary SQL code.
Successful exploitation requires that "magic_quotes_gpc" is
disabled.
The vulnerability is confirmed in version 1.3. Other versions may
also be affected.
SOLUTION:
Apply patch (please see the vendor's advisory for details).
