DESCRIPTION:
Xsploited Security has discovered a vulnerability in SyncBreeze
Server, which can be exploited by malicious people to compromise a
vulnerable system.
The vulnerability is caused due to a boundary error in libpal.dll
when handling network messages and can be exploited to cause a
stack-based buffer overflow via a specially crafted packet sent to
TCP port 9121.
Successful exploitation allows execution of arbitrary code.
The vulnerability is confirmed in version 2.2.30. Other versions may
also be affected.
SOLUTION:
Restrict access to trusted hosts only.
