DESCRIPTION:
A vulnerability has been reported in Network Security Services (NSS),
which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct spoofing
attacks.
The vulnerability is caused due to the library incorrectly allowing
wildcards when verifying certificates using IP addresses, which can
be exploited to conduct spoofing attacks.
The vulnerability is reported in version 3.12.6. Other versions may
also be affected.
SOLUTION:
Fixed in the CVS repository.
