DESCRIPTION:
Fedora has issued an update for iputils. This fixes a weakness, which
can be exploited by malicious people to cause a DoS (Denial of
Service).
The weakness is caused due to an error within the "ping" utility when
processing certain echo reply packets. This can be exploited to e.g.
cause a high CPU usage by tricking a user into pinging a malicious
server.
SOLUTION:
Apply updated packages using the yum utility ("yum update iputils").
