DESCRIPTION:
A vulnerability has been reported in Amlib NetOpacs, which can be
exploited by malicious people to compromise a vulnerable system.
The vulnerability is caused due to a boundary error in webquery.dll
when processing web requests. This can be exploited to cause a
stack-based buffer overflow via an overly-long string.
Successful exploitation may allow execution of arbitrary code.
The vulnerability is reported in version 5.2.0.4. Other versions may
also be affected.
SOLUTION:
Restrict access to the application to trusted users only.
