DESCRIPTION:
A security issue has been reported in IBM FileNet Content Manager,
which may lead to a bypass of certain security restrictions.
The security issue exists when upgrading from version 3.x to version
4.x when the "InheritParentPermissions" flag has been set to "false"
for one or more folders as security inheritance on those folders is
re-enabled. This may result in weaker than intended permissions on
some folders.
The security issue is reported in IBM FileNet P8 Content Manager
versions 4.0.0, 4.0.1, 4.5.0, and 4.5.1.
SOLUTION:
Update to version 4.5.1 and apply Fix Pack 4.
PROVIDED AND/OR DISCOVERED BY:
