DESCRIPTION:
Chris Carton has discovered a vulnerability in Windows, which can be
exploited by malicious, local users to cause a DoS (Denial of
Service) and potentially gain escalated privileges.
The vulnerability is caused due to a boundary error in the Windows
OpenType Compact Font Format (CFF) driver and can be exploited to
overwrite kernel memory with an arbitrary number of 0 bytes when
getting a glyph outline.
SOLUTION:
