http://secunia.com/advisories/39281/
DESCRIPTION:
Lincoln has discovered a vulnerability in ZipScan, which can be
exploited by malicious people to compromise a user's system.
The vulnerability is caused due to a boundary error when processing
archives containing entries with overly long paths. This can be
exploited to cause a stack-based buffer overflow by tricking a user
into e.g. opening a specially crafted ZIP archive.
Successful exploitation allows execution of arbitrary code.
The vulnerability is confirmed in version 2.2c. Other versions may
also be affected.
SOLUTION:
Do not open untrusted archives.
