DESCRIPTION:
A vulnerability has been discovered in WFTPD Server and WFTPD Pro
Server, which can be exploited by malicious users to cause a DoS
(Denial of Service).
The vulnerability is caused due to an error when processing REST
commands. This can be exploited to terminate the FTP service by
requesting a file after specifying an invalid start position via a
REST command.
The vulnerability is confirmed in version 3.30. Other versions may
also be affected.
SOLUTION:
Restrict FTP access to trusted users only.
