DESCRIPTION:
A vulnerability has been discovered in Embedthis Appweb, which can be
exploited by malicious people to cause a DoS (Denial of Service).
The vulnerability is caused due to a NULL pointer dereference error
within the "waitCallback()" function in src/mpr/mprLib.c, which can
be exploited to crash the service by sending multiple requests to
exhaust the pool of free worker threads.
The vulnerability is confirmed in version 3.1.2. Other versions may
also be affected.
SOLUTION:
Fixed in the Mercurial repository.

mentioning security implications. Publicly reported as vulnerability
by Christian Navarrete (chr1x) from the CubilFelino Security Research
Lab.
