DESCRIPTION:
A vulnerability has been reported in Cisco Secure Desktop, which can
be exploited by malicious people to conduct cross-site scripting
attacks.
Input passed via a POST request to the "/translation" script of the
web interface is not properly sanitised before being returned to the
user. This can be exploited to execute arbitrary HTML and script code
in a user's browser session in context of an affected site.
The vulnerability is reported in Cisco Secure Desktop versions prior
to 3.5 and also affects Cisco ASA 5500 appliance versions prior to
8.2(1), 8.1(2.7), and 8.0(5).
NOTE: Cisco ASA 5500 appliances are only affected if the Cisco Secure
Desktop feature has been enabled.

Update to fixed versions:

Cisco ASA 5500 Series Adaptive Security Appliances:
Update to version 8.2(1), 8.1(2.7), or 8.0(5)
