DESCRIPTION:
A vulnerability has been discovered in Hybrid2 IRC Services, which
can be exploited by malicious people to cause a DoS (Denial of
Service).
The vulnerability is caused due to an error when processing certain
private messages, which can be exploited to cause a crash by e.g.
sending a private message containing "help \t" to the MemoServ
service.
The vulnerability is confirmed in version 1.9.4. Other versions may
also be affected.
SOLUTION:
Use in trusted IRC networks only.
