DESCRIPTION:
A vulnerability has been reported in yaSSL, which can be exploited by
malicious people to cause a DoS (Denial of Service) or potentially
compromise an application using the library.
The vulnerability is caused due to an error in the processing of SSL
certificates and can be exploited to cause a buffer overflow via a
specially crafted certificate.
Successful exploitation may allow execution of arbitrary code.
The vulnerability is reported in versions prior to 1.9.9.
SOLUTION:
Update to version 1.9.9.
