TITLE:

SECUNIA ADVISORY ID:
SA37958
VERIFY ADVISORY:
http://secunia.com/advisories/37958/
DESCRIPTION:
A vulnerability has been discovered in the Avatar Studio module for
PHP-Fusion, which can be exploited by malicious users to disclose
sensitive information.
Input passed via the "avatar_studio" and "avatar_select" parameters
to avatar_studio.php is not properly verified before being used to
create avatar images. This can be exploited to include arbitrary
files from local resources via directory traversal attacks and by
appending e.g. a ".jpg" extension to URL-encoded NULL bytes.
The vulnerability is confirmed in version 2.02. Other versions may
also be affected.
SOLUTION:
Edit the source code to ensure that input is properly verified.
