F5 Products TLS Session Renegotiation Plaintext Injection
Vulnerability

DESCRIPTION:
F5 has acknowledged a vulnerability in various F5 products, which can
be exploited by malicious people to manipulate certain data.

The vulnerability is caused due to an error in the TLS protocol while
handling session re-negotiations. This can be exploited to insert
arbitrary plaintext before data sent by a legitimate client in an
existing TLS session via Man-in-the-Middle (MitM) attacks.

SOLUTION:
Apply the updates (please see the vendor's advisory for more
information).

BIG-IP:
Update to 9.3.1 HF8, 9.4.8 HF2, or BIG-IP 10.0.1 HF3.

Enterprise Manager v1.8:
Apply the Engineering Hotfix.

FirePass 5.x and 6.x:
Apply the Engineering Hotfix.
