TITLE:
Red Hat update for JBoss Enterprise Application Platform

SECUNIA ADVISORY ID:
SA37671

VERIFY ADVISORY:
http://secunia.com/advisories/37671/

DESCRIPTION:
Red Hat has issued an update for JBoss Enterprise Application Server.
This fixes some vulnerabilities, which can be exploited by malicious,
local users to disclose sensitive information and by malicious people
to conduct cross-site scripting attacks or potentially to cause a DoS
(Denial of Service).

1) An error in JRE can potentially be exploited to cause a DoS.

For more information see vulnerability #9 in:
SA36159

2) Input passed via the "filter" parameter to the JMX-Console is not
properly sanitised before being returned to the user. This can be
exploited to execute arbitrary HTML and script code in a user's
browser session in context of an affected site.

3) Some vulnerabilities in the JBoss Application Server Web Console
can be exploited to conduct cross-site scripting attacks.

For more information:
SA35680

4) A security issue is caused due to Twiddle logging all command line
arguments, including the JMX password, to the public readable
twiddle.log.

5) A security issue is caused due to an error when processing certain
XML signatures.

For more information, see security issue #4 in:
SA34461
