DESCRIPTION:
Sun has acknowledged some vulnerabilities in Solaris, which can be
exploited by malicious people to cause a DoS (Denial of Service) or
potentially compromise a user's system.
1) An input validation error can be exploited to conduct directory
traversal attacks.

2) An error when processing specially crafted tar archives can be
exploited to cause a stack-based buffer overflow and crash the
vulnerable application.
SOLUTION:
Apply patches.
