DESCRIPTION:
Maxim A. Kulakov has discovered a security issue in multiple Rising
products, which can be exploited by malicious, local users to gain
escalated privileges.

The security issue is caused due to the applications setting insecure
default permissions on the installation directory. This can be
exploited to gain escalated privileges by replacing application
binaries.

The security issue is confirmed in the following products and
versions:
* Rising Firewall 2009 version 21.55.12
* Rising Internet Security 2009 version 21.56.32
* Rising Antivirus 2009 21.55.12

Other versions may also be affected.

SOLUTION:
Remove unprivileged access from the permissions set on the
installation directories.
