VERIFY ADVISORY:
http://secunia.com/advisories/36043/

DESCRIPTION:
NetBSD has issued an update for ISC DHCP. This fixes a vulnerability,
which can be exploited by malicious people to cause a DoS (Denial of
Service).

The vulnerability is caused due to an error in the DHCP server and
can be exploited to cause a crash via multiple DHCP requests having
the same client ID, sent on different interfaces.

Successful exploitation requires that client ID based configurations
are mixed in the configuration file with hardware address based
configurations.

SOLUTION:
Fixed in the CVS repository. See vendor advisory for details.

PROVIDED AND/OR DISCOVERED BY:
The vendor credits Christoph Biedl.
