DESCRIPTION:
A vulnerability has been reported in nilfs-utils, which can be
exploited by malicious, local users to gain escalated privileges.
The vulnerability is caused due to "mkfs.nilfs2" not properly
sanitising input passed via the device string command line option
before using it in a call to "system()", and by default being
installed with the setuid bit set. This can be exploited to execute
arbitrary commands with escalated privileges.
The vulnerability is reported in versions prior to 2.0.14.
SOLUTION:
Update to version 2.0.14.
