SECUNIA ADVISORY ID:
SA35996
VERIFY ADVISORY:
http://secunia.com/advisories/35996/
DESCRIPTION:
Moudi has reported some vulnerabilities in XZero Community
Classifieds, which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct
cross-site scripting attacks.
Input passed via the URL, and to the "_xzcal_y" and "postevent"
parameters in index.php is not properly sanitised before being
returned to the user. This can be exploited to execute arbitrary HTML
and script code in a user's browser session in context of an affected
site.
The vulnerabilities are reported in version 4.97.8. Other versions
may also be affected.
SOLUTION:
Edit the source code to ensure that input is properly sanitised.
