DESCRIPTION:
Some vulnerabilities have been reported in Squid, which can be
exploited by malicious people to cause a DoS (Denial of Service).
1) Various errors in the processing of HTTP headers can be exploited
to cause a DoS when a specially crafted request or response is being
processed.
2) Input validation errors in the processing of HTTP responses can be
exploited to cause a crash via a specially crafted response.
The vulnerabilities are reported in versions 3.0.STABLE16 or prior
and 3.1.0.11 or prior.
SOLUTION:
Update to 3.0.STABLE17, 3.1.0.12, or apply patches.
