DESCRIPTION:
Some security issues have been reported in Xfig, which can be
exploited by malicious, local users to perform certain actions with
escalated privileges.
The security issues are caused due to the insecure handling of
temporary files in f_readeps.c, f_readgif.c, f_readppm.c,
f_readtif.c, u_print.c, w_print.c, and w_srchrepl.c, which can be
exploited via symlink attacks to e.g. overwrite arbitrary files with
the privileges of the user running the program.
SOLUTION:
Update to version 3.2.5b.
