DESCRIPTION:
fl0 fl0w has discovered a vulnerability in Virtual DJ, which can be
exploited by malicious people to compromise a user's system.
The vulnerability is caused due to a boundary error in the processing
of playlist files and can be exploited to cause a stack-based buffer
overflow via e.g. a specially crafted ".m3u" file.
Successful exploitation allows execution of arbitrary code.
The vulnerability is confirmed in trial versions 6.0 and 6.0.1. Other
versions may also be affected.
SOLUTION:
Do not open untrusted files using the application.
