DESCRIPTION:
A vulnerability has been reported in SonicWALL Global Security
Client, which can be exploited by malicious, local users to gain
escalated privileges.

The vulnerability is caused due to a design error within the
application when opening log files via the system tray icon. This can
be exploited to e.g. start a shell with SYSTEM privileges.

The vulnerability is reported in version 1.0.0.15. Other versions may
also be affected.

SOLUTION:
Grant only trusted users access to affected systems.
