DESCRIPTION:
A vulnerability has been reported in Serena Dimensions CM, which can
be exploited by malicious people to conduct spoofing attacks.
The vulnerability is caused due to the Desktop Client application
accepting e.g. self-signed SSL certificates without user interaction
when establishing a server connection. This can be exploited to spoof
a valid server via MitM (Man-in-the-Middle) attacks.
The vulnerability is reported in version 10.1. Other versions may
also be affected.
SOLUTION:
Do not rely on the security provided by the SSL implementation.
