Apport Cleanup Race Condition Security Issue

DESCRIPTION:
A security issue has been reported in Apport, which can be exploited
by malicious, local users to manipulate certain data.
The security issue is caused due to a race condition within the
cleanup cron job /etc/cron.daily/apport, which can be exploited to
e.g. delete arbitrary folders by changing existing subfolders of
/var/crash/ into symlinks while certain stages of the cleanup job are
running.
The security issue is reported in versions prior to 1.1.1.
SOLUTION:
Update to version 1.1.1 or apply patch.
