Zubrag Smart File Download File Extension Security Bypass

DESCRIPTION:
A security issue has been discovered in Zubrag Smart File Download,
which can be exploited by malicious people to bypass certain security
restrictions.

The security issue is caused due to the script incorrectly handling
filenames containing NULL characters, which can be exploited to
bypass the file extension security check by appending "%00." and an
allowed file extension to the "f" parameter.

Successful exploitation requires that "magic_quotes_gpc" is
disabled.

The security issue is confirmed in version 1.3. Other versions may
also be affected.

SOLUTION:
Enable "magic_quotes_gpc". Edit the source code to ensure that file
extensions are properly verified.
