Vulnerability

DESCRIPTION:
A vulnerability has been reported in Samsung M8800 Innov8 and
SGH-J750, which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct
spoofing attacks.

The vulnerability is caused due to the devices improperly verifying
the source of incoming SMS provisioning messages. This can be
exploited to spoof valid SMS provisioning messages and trick a user
into installing a malicious configuration via specially crafted e.g.
USERPIN or NETWPIN messages.

SOLUTION:
Do not trust SMS provisioning messages.
