SECUNIA ADVISORY ID:
SA34850
VERIFY ADVISORY:
http://secunia.com/advisories/34850/
DESCRIPTION:
Some vulnerabilities have been discovered in dWebPro, which can be
exploited by malicious people to disclose potentially sensitive
information.
1) A vulnerability is caused due to an input validation error when
processing HTTP requests, which can be exploited to disclose the
content of directories on the system via directory traversal
attacks.
2) An error in the processing of HTTP requests can be exploited to
disclose the content of e.g. asp files by accessing the NTFS
Alternate Data Stream (ADS) of the file, e.g. "file.asp::$DATA".
The vulnerabilities are confirmed in version 6.8.26. Other versions
may also be affected.
SOLUTION:
Restrict access to affected systems. Do not use the web server on
network interfaces.
