SOFTWARE:
PHP-Fusion 7.x

PHP-Fusion 6.x

DESCRIPTION:
Some vulnerabilities have been reported in PHP-Fusion, which can be
exploited by malicious people to conduct cross-site scripting
attacks, and malicious people to conduct SQL injection attacks.

1) Input passed to the "submit_info[]" parameter in submit.php (when
"stype" is set to "l" and "submit_link", "link_name", "link_url" and
"link_description" are set to non-NULL values) is not properly
sanitised before being used in SQL queries. This can be exploited to
manipulate SQL queries by injecting arbitrary SQL code.

Successful exploitation of this vulnerability requires that
"register_globals" is enabled and "magic_quotes_gpc" is disabled.

This vulnerability is reported in version 7.00.2. Other versions may
also be affected.

2) Input passed to unspecified parameters is not properly sanitised
before being returned to the user. This can be exploited to execute
arbitrary HTML and script code in a user's browser session in the
context of an affected site.

This vulnerability is reported in version 7.00.3 and prior, and
6.01.17 and prior.

SOLUTION:
Update to version 7.00.4 or 6.01.18.
