DESCRIPTION:
A vulnerability has been discovered in i.Scribe, which potentially
can be exploited by malicious people to compromise a user's system.
The vulnerability is caused due to a format string error when
generating error messages. This can be exploited by e.g. tricking a
user into connecting to a malicious SMTP server.
The vulnerability is confirmed in i.Scribe version 1.89 test22 on
Windows and is also reported in version 2.00 beta. Other versions may
also be affected.
SOLUTION:
Connect to trusted servers only.
