DESCRIPTION:
Gjoko 'LiquidWorm' Krstic has reported a vulnerability in Nero
ShowTime, which potentially can be exploited by malicious people to
compromise a user's system.
The vulnerability is caused due to a boundary error in the processing
of M3U files and can be exploited to cause a buffer overflow.
Successful exploitation may allow execution of arbitrary code.
The vulnerability is reported in version 5.0.15.0. Other versions may
also be affected.
SOLUTION:
Do not open untrusted M3U files using Nero ShowTime.
