DESCRIPTION:
Some vulnerabilities have been discovered in FAQ Manager, which can
be exploited by malicious people to disclose sensitive information
and conduct SQL injection attacks.
1) Input passed to the "config_path" parameter in include/header.php
is not properly verified before being used to include files. This can
be exploited to include arbitrary files from local resources via
directory traversal attacks.
Successful exploitation of this vulnerability requires that
"register_globals" is enabled.
2) Input passed to the "cat_id" parameter in catagorie.php is not
properly sanitised before being used in SQL queries. This can be
exploited to manipulate SQL queries by injecting arbitrary SQL code.
These vulnerabilities are confirmed in version 1.2. Other versions
may also be affected.
SOLUTION:
Edit the source code to ensure that input is properly verified and
sanitised.
