DESCRIPTION:
Ruben Santamarta has discovered a vulnerability in RealWin, which can
be exploited by malicious people to compromise a vulnerable system.
The vulnerability is caused due to a boundary error in the processing
of TCP packets received on port 910 by default. This can be exploited
to cause a stack-based buffer overflow via an overly large
INFOTAG/SET_CONTROL packet.
Successful exploitation allows execution of arbitrary code.
The vulnerability is confirmed in RealWin demo version 2.0 (build
6.0.10.37). Other versions may also be affected.
SOLUTION:
Restrict network access to trusted users only.
